June 25th-July 25th

Enjoy your favorite outdoor activity and protect endangered species at the same time.

All you have to do is register and choose an outdoor activity. Then get moving!

What activity will you choose?

  • 15k Pedal = head out for a bike ride
  • 10k Paddle = break out your kayak, canoe or paddleboard
  • 5k Plod = run, roll, hike, or walk

After registering, you’ll also have the option to start a team or join an existing team. You (or your team) can help conservation even further by fundraising on your own personalized fundraising page! Set a goal for how much you’d like to raise, then tell your friends and family what you’re doing and invite them to support your efforts. They’ll be inspired by you, and maybe Aunt Mary will decide to go on a hike for conservation herself, too!

Registrants receive a free pair of Pedal, Paddle, or Plod socks!

NEw this year

This year we’re kicking off the event with Wonderstate Coffee! Join us to pick up your swag and fuel up for your paddle/hike/etc. with a free cup of joe courtesy of Wonderstate. 11am to 2pm on Friday June 24th at their Main Street Viroqua cafe OR their Madison capitol square cafe. (Can’t make it? You can also have your swag mailed to you.)

We’ve also added a SILENT AUCTION this year! Pizza, gift cards, and… paintings made by zoo animals? This and much more. The auction will open in June.

Event Proceeds

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to protect Bengal tigers, Asian elephants, pangolins, and many more. The event’s proceeds will go towards Community Conservation Inc.’s wildlife monitoring trainings for community forest groups in eastern Nepal. Your registrations and donations help empower local people to protect endangered species.
