Our approach of working directly with communities keeps us flexible and cost-effective, and increases the positive impact of your donation.
- $240 ($20 per month) is enough to train 5 community members in biodiversity monitoring.
- $1,000 (~$80 per month) can support our work in one community for an entire year.
- $2,400 (~$200 per month) can support trainings across 10-20 communities for a year.
- $10,000 (~$800 per month) can provide support for an entire program in one country for a year.
Donor Advised Fund (DAF) Giving

Gifts of Stock
Community Conservation is also happy to accept gifts of stock at any time. Note: Stocks that do not fit the Board of Directors’ Social Responsibility Profile are just as helpful, but please note that they may be sold and the proceeds used to support Community Conservation’s mission.
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)
If you are 70 ½ years or older, you can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as Community Conservation without having to pay income taxes on the money. This is known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution and can satisfy your required minimum distribution, reducing your taxable income. This way of giving can be particularly advantageous if you are looking for a tax-wise way to make a significant impact.
