Catalyze Change. Empower Local People. Save Species.
If you believe that we need to conserve the world’s resources by working with people at the community level, please consider supporting Community Conservation today.
Your contribution empowers people to help themselves – by protecting their local environments and resources, they also protect the biodiversity that we all value.
Community Conservation is hoping to raise $15,000 by the end of the year to fully fund all our activities in Myanmar for 2021: training and supporting community conservationists from over 20 protected areas.
An anonymous couple (donors to Community Conservation for many years) offered to help make this happen. They matched all donations given by the end of the year up to $5,000, including on Giving Tuesday. And we just met their match! Thank you for your wonderful support.
Now we are hoping to raise the full $15,000 needed by the end of the year. Any additional funds raised will support our other work with communities in Malaysia and Nepal. We truly appreciate your considering a gift.
Goal: $15,000 Current status: $10,800 raised (updated 12/28)
