The flavor
The Tipsy Tiger Rice Lager is a refreshing brew that evokes the essence of the Himalayas with flavors of citrusy lemongrass, zesty ginger, and earthy turmeric. 4.5% ABV. This flavorful lager will support Wisconsin-based nonprofit Community Conservation, Inc.’s efforts to conserve critical tiger, elephant, and pangolin habitat in the foothills of Nepal.
supporting tiger conservation
Our vision for the Terai landscape of eastern Nepal: to create a community-managed corridor of safe habitat for large mammals and other wildlife, which will allow them to travel back and forth between large protected areas. This corridor would help many animals to survive, thrive and increase their populations, including large iconic species like Bengal tigers. We’ve been raising awareness of the corridor concept, as well as wildlife conservation in general, among community forest groups in the area. We’ve been conducting trainings on technology such as camera traps and GPS along with our local partner organizations. The goal: for the community forest groups to monitor the wildlife in their own forests.
Thank you mobcraft
Thank you to MobCraft for brewing a special beer for Community Conservation Inc. Tipsy Tiger was the winner of MobCraft Brewing’s December crowdsourced beer vote – in each of these contests, the beer with the most votes wins and is then brewed, packaged, and available for pick-up at the brewery.
MobCraft will be donating 50% of all wholesale profits and $1 of every pint of
Tipsy Tiger poured in the taproom to support Community Conservation, Inc. and is encouraging establishments who carry Tipsy Tiger to provide a suggested donation of $0.50 for each pint poured.
Thank you also to our board member Kara DeLanty for coming up with the delicious winning flavor idea!
